Airplane At Terminal

Long before SkyBuddy & Co.™ existed, before the Comfort Crew had names or uniforms, there was just a kid standing under a California sky. Guided by his father's legacy from many years in the cockpit, yet transfixed by almost anything to do with aviation. From standing at the windows before a flight, or gazing at the huge airliners zooming overhead...

That kid was me.

I didn’t know it then, but those moments: the waiting at the gate, standing in an airport viewing area or just fascinated by photos and videos of airliners in flight, were shaping the way I saw the world. Every takeoff felt like a story beginning. Every landing felt like a story returning home. Aviation wasn’t just a fascination — it was a language I understood instinctively.

Years later, I found myself working at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) — not as a pilot, not as an engineer, but as someone who saw the human side of aviation every single day.

I saw:

  • families rushing to make connections

  • nervous first‑time flyers gripping their boarding passes

  • exhausted travelers who just needed someone to be kind

  • small moments of patience that changed someone’s entire day

Airports are emotional places. They’re full of excitement, fear, hope, frustration, joy, and everything in between.

And standing in the middle of all that, I realized something important:

People don’t just need to get from point A to point B. They need comfort along the way.

SkyBuddy & Co.™ didn’t begin as a business idea.

It began as a feeling — a desire to make travel feel softer, safer, more human.

I started imagining characters who embodied the emotions I saw every day:

  • the calm presence who reassures you at the checkpoint

  • the warm smile that greets you at the gate

  • the steady captain who makes you feel safe

  • the cabin crew member who treats you like a person, not a seat number

These weren’t just characters. They were reflections of real people — the ones who make aviation feel like a community.

And slowly, the Comfort Crew was born.

Every character I create comes from something real:

  • a moment I witnessed

  • a traveler I helped

  • a coworker who inspired me

  • a feeling I recognized in myself

SkyBuddy & Co™ isn’t a brand built in a boardroom. It’s built in terminals, jet bridges, security lines, and quiet corners of the airport where humanity shows up in unexpected ways.

I’m not a corporate founder. I’m a storyteller who happens to work in aviation. And SkyBuddy & Co™ is the world where those stories live.

I didn’t create SkyBuddy & Co™ to sell plush toys. I created it because I believe comfort is a form of kindness — and kindness is something the world can never have too much of.

If even one traveler feels seen, understood, or comforted because of something I made, then every late night, every sketch, every moment of doubt is worth it.

This is more than a business to me.

It’s my way of giving back to the world that raised me — the world of aviation.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading my story. Thank you for supporting a dream that started with a kid looking up at airplanes.

SkyBuddy & Co™ is still growing, still evolving, still finding its wings.

And I’m grateful you’re part of the journey.
